Event Description
Smile, the new radio station for Bromley, has announced two Summer School Radio Workshop dates for 11-16 year olds. The workshops, which cost £95 each, will be held on Monday 24 & Tuesday 25 August and Thursday 27 & Friday 28th August from 10am – 3.30pm.
Aspiring DJ’s will learn radio skills and techniques with professional tutors and get to record their own show on Smile’s three-day radio workshops at Bromley Central Library. The shows will go out live-on-air as part of Smile’s one-day RSL (restricted service license), radio broadcast on Saturday October 31.
Youngsters will get the opportunity to present their shows and help run the station for the day. Each student will receive a CD of their work and a special certificate.
