Tour De Clock House Local police now have 3 brand new bicycles and 6 members of the team have passed their training courses.

Police warn of vehicle crime after recent spate of catalytic converter thefts, older vehicles being towed away and warn drivers to remove the mark that SAT NAV holders make on windscreens as these are a tell tale sign that one might be in the hidden in the glove box.

Police are asking for the public to report any suspicious pick-up trucks or people, especially graffiti artists who they have had some recent success arresting lately.

Schoolchild Security Alert!
Date: 23 October 2009
Importance: High
Audience: Head Teachers of all School and Educational Establishments (including Independent Schools)
This information has been received from Cator Park School

At approximately 9.30am this morning a Year 9 student from Cator Park School was on the 358 bus and says that there was a “weird” looking man in front of her. She got off the bus at Kent House Station and so did the man. The student walked slowly so that she was not near him and he stopped to look at a car so the student went on the opposite side of the road and as she went into the tunnel at Kent House the man shouted to her “hey wait for me” and started whistling. The student ran and the man walked very quickly after her. At the corner of the park (Kent House end) the man stopped and looked at the student, she ran to school.

The student says that she has seen the same man before, near her house in Crystal Palace, it was quite dark and he shouted to her and her sister.

The student describes the man as:
White, Quite fat, Pony tail – wavy grey hair, Washed out torn blue jeans, Cream or green jacket, Age – 40’s or 50’s, About 5’4”, His face and clothes were a bit dirty

Beckenham Town FC confirm sadly that Teddy Sheringham will not be in the squad for this weekend's FA Vase tie versus Banstead Athletic at Eden Park ground 3.00pm kick0off, Saturday 19th September. The team is stretched with more players unavailable, but let's hope that the talent they showed in their last cup match gets them trough once more.
